Highschool's only tough when you're pretending to be someone you're not. β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜† Alexander Doren has a secret. A secret that will ruin his life if found out, but not to worry. He has a plan. Just keep the lie up. Survive highschool, university...and the rest of his life...and things should go smoothly for him! Well...unfortunately the first part of his plan doesn't quite pan out when his father finds his second chance mate in a different pack right before his last year of highschool. That means he needs to follow his father to this other pack and finish highschool there. It was supposed to be easy, but nothing in life is easy apparently. Not only does he find his mate, he finds his mate in the future Alpha of the pack, Vixen Dallas. Accepting him could blow his secret out of the water, but rejecting him could kill him. Alexander can only hope to ignore his mate and allow the bond to fizzle out naturally, but he didn't take into account the fact that Vixen wouldn't be ok with that. β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜† Here's to me publishing this story before it's done in hopes of actually finishing it. Growing Pains

79 parts Complete

In the day-to-day trenches of high school, it is almost the default-setting to believe we are the main character of our own coming-of-age story. This is not wrong. It's just ours isn't the only story there is. The jocks, the nerds, the cheerleaders, the losers, the stoners, the fangirls, the skaters. Everyone's the realest most important person in existence, all of them, at the same time, first-person narrators to their own stories, stumbling into each other's plot lines, defying the status-quo, catalysts to ups and downs. A deconstruction of all the high school tropes and cliches written over the years, a deep-dive into the psyche of students trying to finish high school while going through irrevocable self-discovery, the most improbable of connections, and the insufferable pains of growing up.
