Ayzal's patience snapped as she poked him hard in the chest. "What have I done to deserve this?" Her voice shook with a mix of anger and hurt.

He stayed silent, his eyes avoiding hers, hands stuffed in his pockets. She yanked him closer, her breath hot against his face. "I need to know why you have been shutting me out. For months, I have felt invisible to you. Don't I mean anything?"

Her tears began to flow freely, and she wiped them away with frustration. "If it is too hard for you to be with me, then just say it. I can't keep living like this, feeling abandoned. Please, if you don't want me, let me go." With a final, sorrowful push, she stepped back.

                   -------------------------------------------------------

"If you didn't love me in the first place then you shouldn't have married me." She said, her heart sinking knowing that she didn't have a place in his heart. "Do you think I wanted to?" He spoke, turning his face to the side looking at her over his shoulder. "If it wouldn't have been for Zain then I wouldn't have ever!." He stated. She didn't knew how she could muster up so much courage to stride towards him and turn him by holding his hands as she made him face her. Standing on her tiptoes she was a bit his level as she caught hold of his collars. "Tell me you're lying. Tell me that it wasn't just for Zain. Tell me you're doing this because you're angry with me. Tell me that's it's all a lie!" She exclaimed at the end, her tears rolling down her cheeks freely. He looked at her for a second before he caught her hands which were on his collar and removed them, and holding her wrist, he turned it behind her back as he fiercely pulled her closer to him, his eyes staring deep into her. "Even if I am, you have lost the right to ask me that." He stated coldly. "Why!" She exclaimed. "Why did you behave so sweet with me all this time, when you had already planned to end this relation. Why did you filled this void life of mine with happiness and joy. You should have just let me be!" Her eyes held the anger and pain which her heart was feeling. "Just to let you know how it feels to be betrayed." With that said, he let go of her and moved back. *** The only things that mattered in Shumail Ibrahim's life were his friends and his work. "Why do you want to marry me??" Her face shows her vulnerability and her voice cracks. "I am dirty now." And the lone tear escapes her left eye and falls down her cheek. I immediately wipe it with my thumb looking at her with all the emotions I have for her. "Either dirty or pure, I am still going to marry you.... Only if you want me to. And let me tell you that you were, you are and you will always be the purest soul in the world." I take her hands in mine and give them a squeeze as a form of comfort. "I know I should've asked you first instead of announcing this. I apologize for that but the situation became like this and all so now I genuinely want to know.
