This fanfiction follows the events of season 3 of Stranger Things, only some parameters were not taken into account, such as the disappearance of Jim Hopper.

Autumn 1985, following the terrible events of the summer, everyone trying to get back to a more or less normal life...
Trapped in her routine, Joyce Byers hadn't realized how much the tragedies of the last 3 years had changed her profound nature... and her view of the world.

One night, a call from Sheriff Jim Hopper put her in the middle of a new story, in a world where she had yet to prove herself. Maybe that was all she needed...
