I see a guy having a hard time swimming in the ocean after his sail boat capsizes in the storm. I swim over to help him up into the lifeboat.

As he gets pulled in I look into his eyes and its the man of my dreams! I nudge the life boat a little and just stare in open interest. If I could drool in this form I would. BELIEVE ME.

The guy next to him says, "Is that a dolphin?!"

"Yeah! I heard that dolphins save humans sometimes!" said another person a woman...WHO WAS HOLDING ONTO THE MAN OF MY DREAMS!!!

I squeal indignant and shake my head from side to side.

Oh, and also, I'm not a freakin dolphin!

Of course it comes out as squeaks and squeals and whistles.

"Look! Its talking to us! Aww!" The woman says before she reaches over to touch me.

I pull out of her reach while I shout in my head, I eat dolphins!

*Warning ahead content contains animal abuse It was dimmed. I couldn't see. Oh, but I could smell. The sweet scents all around me. Then I smelled her. I immediately knew who she was. My mother. My creator. I went over to her screaming my way between my two siblings. Although I was just a puppy, I could recognize my surroundings. When I was finished drinking the milk from my mother, I moved away. I felt a hard surface underneath me. There were plenty of other scents too. One that smelled delicious. I also couldn't hear, but I could feel movement. I was removed from the hard surface and handed a much softer place. There were these weird bumps over the softer surface. It moved me around, and I was set back down in place on the floor. A couple of weeks passed though I couldn't feel it. Each day felt as if I was still a newborn. Time was not essential in my mind. As I got older, my senses started to sharpen. I could see and hear, but the one thing I couldn't see was color. All I saw was black and gray. My mother was very furry, but so was I. I would often smell her, and I liked how her scent smelled sweet. When I could, I would find food around a dumpster. We were learning more as we got older. I had two sisters and two brothers, as I was one of the girls. We spoke to each other often, my siblings and me. "Let's go, children." Mother said to us in a soft voice. We knew how to communicate. When we fought over food mother, would tell at us. I didn't like being in trouble. I was usually quiet. One day I learned the soft surface that I had encountered was a human hand. I had felt that same surface when a human came up to us. The human loaded all of us in their vehicle. We came upon this strange building. The human let us out in this strange building. There were many scents. I couldn't place them all at once. I concentrated on one specific scent. Strawberry. It smelled so sweet, and it started to hurt my nose.

I'm starting my mermaid shifting journey and I'm currently still doing research on mermaid. I wanna be a Freshwater Tropical mermaid (knowing damn well that I don't live by the ocean.) but my parents are thinking about moving somewhere else soon because they don't like where we currently are. (SOUTH DAKOTA) BUTTTT I'm just gonna be writing things down that I notice. I want to stay motivated because sometimes I can procrastinate and then loose interest in something 😭 ((UPDATE)) 09/08/24 I haven't lost interest at all, just been on and off trying to balance teenage life and mermaid shifting. I'm getting closer to achieving my goal but do not lose hope! I try to update as much as possible. :D

'No, he didn't'. I was so shocked by the turn of events. Everything was going fine and then suddenly boom, everything turned upside down. I just couldn't believe this. What did he think of himself? So, the poor lady thinks that I will leave her alone and just let her go free?' He had that evil laugh and boy, his breath stank. 'Man, you just signed your death warrant and I will do one favour on you.' No one messes with me. 'Ooooh, I am so scared that I almost peed my pants.' Again that idiotic laugh. I counted till 5 and then kicked right in his balls. I turned around and grabbed his hair from roots, jerked them so badly and then gave my hard elbow shot on his chin. Everything happened so fast for one moment he was standing and the other lying on floor wiggling. I charged at him with my cheetah speed, picked up a wooden rod and started hitting him wildly, 'You idiotic stinky breath was trying to steal my backpack. You are so dead.' 'Favour, favour, favour.' He was screaming in pain just after few seconds and was panting hard. I picked my paste from my bag and threw at him, 'Brush your teeth.' I was fuming. Water dripped and rolled off of her skin and the plop, plop of each drop seemed ridiculously loud even over the roar of the sea. Her long lustrous white hair nearly reached her knees and waved slightly in the breeze. Her cerulean blue eyes had darkened to match the sea and a faint glow radiated from them. My eyes fought to stay connected to hers, it was so tempting to look down at her pearly skin that was so fully on display. The silver crown on her head dipped slightly as she lowered her head. "I am yours." Her siren's voice spoke, wrapping me in lyrics that I didn't know the language of but it didn't matter because my body knew the song. When I moved to the beautifully lethal seaside town of Long Beach, Washington, I never expected my whole world to be turned upside down. After a near-drowning three days into our move, my moms (yes I have two moms) are more than reluctant to let me out of their sight. But alas, as a redhead, I never could stay out of trouble for very long. Only the funny thing is, I never expected to be saved by a five hundred year old mermaid princess hell bent on claiming me as her mate. Nor did I expect everything about myself and my heratige to change. Yeah, I made that face too. RIP Kelsey.

Some would say they're rumors and fairytales because they can not be snapped by phones or mobile devices, rather. But none of these they said matched with what the world's wealthiest eligible bachelor, Justin Chadwick knew. Though, he must have seen them couple of times in the movies, heard about them in books, folktales and all of that. But it became a reality to him since he was eighteen and ever since then, he got struck with the trauma. He'd think that it was as a result of his excess overthinking or too many hallucinations that led to his first revelation of half human and fish creature.
