After what happened to Sora in Castle Oblivion, Namine is trying to fix his memories with a bit of help from DiZ. Riku is with them in mansion as well but is more rebellious. Riku doesn't trust either one and is only there on behalf of the King. During his time at the mansion, he finds that he didn't know as much about Namine or DiZ as he thought he had. He's surprised to find how alike him and Namine are.
