Petals
It wasn't like Ominis hadn't already known what was happening to him. Being born blind, he had developed a very delicate sense of self-awareness and had learned to be introspective very early in his life. He had known that this was likely to end in a tragedy for him. He had known it since he had coughed up the first petal. *** TRIGGER WARNING: Blood and Character death. Read at own responsibility. !! This is a Sebinis story !! PLEASE MIND THE TAGS! This might destroy you a little. If you don't know what the Hanahaki disease is, feel free to look it up! There is a description of it in the story, too. The Hanahaki disease is completely fictional and does not exist in real life. Non-Fatal Hanahaki AU. Feelings are fair game for nine months out of the year, but God forbid you develop a crush during Hanahaki Season; three months of coughing up petals just because you're in love with someone who doesn't love you back? It's a damn inconvenience. You haven't had an active Hanahaki Season in the four years since you started YouTube and, you think that since you're in quarantine, not going outside, not meeting new people, you'll be fine this year, too! Except that you start playing Among Us with a group of people you've never met before, friends of friends, including the elusive Corpse Husband, who's kind, and funny, and may be flirting with you, but you're not quite sure. The point is, you make friends with him, not expecting much beyond a streaming buddy, but then you get talking more often, chatting and joking at all hours in DMs, he's calling you sweet nicknames on stream and you wake up on the first day of your Season coughing up flower petals, cursing yourself for falling for a man whose first name you don't even know!Tamamlanmış Hikaye
Blue Hydrangea | Newtmas AU
Words: 11k Newt couldn't help but notice the way Thomas' cough had grown worse, more ragged, and how every now and then, small, delicate petals fell from his lips. At first, Newt thought it was nothing-a cold maybe-but now, as he watches Thomas clutch his chest in pain, he realizes the truth: Hanahaki disease. The flowers that bloom in Thomas' lungs are a cruel manifestation of unspoken love, and the more Thomas tries to hide it, the more they bloom, suffocating him slowly. Newt knows that if Thomas doesn't confess his feelings soon, the flowers will be the death of him. But how can Thomas confess, when the person he loves is Newt?Tamamlanmış Hikaye
Begonias
When Dream feels his heart rate speed up at the end of George's Livestream, he knows he's too far gone. "This feels so wrong," George says and repeats. Dream clicks off the stream, the sounds of labored breathing filling the room as he tried to stem the panic he was feeling. The next day, after he had just barely dragged himself away from the edge of oblivion and heartache he would never return from, he felt the first tickle at the back of his throat. He coughed roughly, it sounded like he had fluid in his lungs or something. Pneumonia, maybe? But instead of coughing up mucus or phlegm, his eyes widened in shock at the taste of blood in is mouth. || Gream // DreamNotFound Hanahaki Story. There will be angst, slow burn, blood, vomiting, contemplation of suicide, anxiety attacks, and more. Do not read if this bothers you. You have been warned. ||Tamamlanmış Hikaye

WHY IS THIS STILL GETTING READS IT'S FREAKING 2022 HELP Dream grew up in a world where when you turn 16, you cough up your first flowers. It's not very painful at first, but the flowers get bigger and more frequently coughed up over a span of 2 years. If you haven't found and kissed your soulmate by the time you turn 18, you die of the "disease." The flowers are your soulmate's favourite color(s). Their gender is shown by what kind of flower it is: buttercups for female, roses for male, and oleanders for any others. Once you kiss your soulmate, the flowers retreat over a span of a week, finally leaving forever. If your soulmate dies before you find them, the flowers turn black, and the progression of the flowers stops. If you kiss anyone who is not your soulmate (outside blood relatives), then 2 months get taken off of your time to find your soulmate. If you have more than one soulmate (the max is 3), the flowers will be oleanders and will have two different colors the flowers can be. //Yes, I know that's not what Hanahaki disease is. Don't attack me please.// Dream's been waiting for a month over a year to find his soulmate. His best friends, Nick and Zak, already found theirs. Well, Nick has two: Alex and Karl. Shouldn't Have [TomTord]
Hanahaki Disease AU: Tom doesn't try. He doesn't want to. This is because no matter what he does, he knows he'll always end up in last place. It's no big deal, it's not like anything he does is a life or death situation. But it kind of is. This story is brought you to by: Flowers in lungs, a ginger wingman with a story, and a whole lot of trying and giving up.
