A lot of times it seems like the kids who always are in the spotlight have it the best. They have lots of friends, they're respected by teachers and students, and they honestly have everything lucky. But most of the times, it's just the opposite. This is a story about my experience being the "popular" kid in elementary school, and some other struggles I encountered.

Meant to be - a Descendants story (Bal)
Once upon a time, in a kingdom known as Auradon, lived a young prince. He was one of the most kind and caring princes the kingdom ever had. He cared about everyone, even the ones no one thought were actually worth caring for. One day, the month before his coronation, he made his first proclamation. He wanted to give the children of the villains his father had abandoned to the isle of the lost, an equal chance in Auradon. And so he invited four villain kids to Auradon Prep. Mal, daughter of Maleficent; Jay, son of Jafar; Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil; and Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen. Most people thought they would be just like their parents; evil, vicious and cruel. But Ben was convinced that even those who were raised to be villains had a good heart. And he wasn't wrong about that. It came with some struggles, but they found their place in Auradon too. After his coronation he decided that more kids had to come over, as the first four proved that they could live just like other Auradoniens in the kingdom, amongst the other citizens. He didn't really know them well personally, but only heard good stories about them and that was proof enough for him. A Descendants and Carlos de Vil x fem!oc book, meaning I make a character, you play them, your love interest is Carlos de Vil and this story takes place in the movie Descendants 1, 2, 3. I am Esme, daughter of the Enchantress. If you don't know who the Enchantress is, she is the witch who had curse the beast into, well, the beast. My mother left me on someone's doorstep and that stranger brought me to the King and Queen. They did a DNA test and found out that I also had powers. The King only saw danger in me and banished me to the Isle. Over the years on this prison, I met four other villain kids, Mal, Jay, Carlos, and Evie. We became best friends, wreaking havoc together for years. What happens when we were chosen to go to Auradon Prep? What happens when we also have to steal the wand, Fairy Godmother's wand? After my eleventh birthday, I get invited to a royal academy called Auradon Prep, and I'm kinda treated like a princess at that school. Being different from the other kids has always been a struggle for all of them since grade school, but they try to keep that out of mind. But with their dark history following them at every corner, making new friends can't be on their list. Matter of fact, it isn't an option. Especially when their attitudes are what drive people away rather than in. Not like they're complaining though. When these eight students get paired up for an end of the year assignment, they encounter a lot of drama that will test their relationships to the max. What will happen to them? Better Than The Movies
In this world, there are some people who get their happily ever afters and others who don't. Those who get their magical fairytale romance, cherish it for as long as it lasts while the others never get to enjoy the wonders of a fairytale. Instead, they are forced to stay inside their hopeless reality and grow old thinking about what they did to deserve never getting their once upon a time. I think those are the ones who wanted it bad enough. They craved a fairytale more than life itself. Devoted their lives to Disney movies and romance books just to be let down by the real world.
