Miranda has grown up on earth with her parents in their cabin home in the woods. Her mother works surrounded by nature and her father is a businessman. She had a very strict upbringing and has some unique skills for the 21st century. She has always enjoyed fantasy stories. Some of her favorites are the books by J. R. R. Tolkien. What happens when she finds out that the books are not just stories? Join Miranda as she discovers the truth behind her upbringing and her real identity. She will love and she will lose but she will always fight.

This book is a fan-fiction work by me. This is book one of two (possibly three) that follow the works by J. R. R. Tolkien. I do not own the works by J. R. R. Tolkien nor do I claim ownership of his characters, places, or plot. This specific book follows the plot of "The Hobbit" by J. R. R. Tolkien. I own my own characters and any experience that they have that does not exist in "The Hobbit" or "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. She forges long lasting friendships with those around her and finds herself getting close to the elven prince even though they start as rivals. This is a Legolas love story but if any of you have read my other fan fictions then you know I love character development and so this is likely to take a long time to get started. Also, I know there are like a billion fan fictions with the same plot, that being a female elf who is part of the fellowship and ends up falling in love with Legolas. I know every fan fic is basically that plot repeated over and over again but I just said, 'what the hell, if you can't beat them, join them' so I made this.
