Evelyn is the new girl in town. Or shall I say....city? Sixteen year old Evelyn Thorn has moved to New York City where there are hot guys, mean girls, and interesting settings. Evelyn thinks she doesn't fit in, but what happens when the hottest guy ever starts flirting with her? Then, when Evelyn hears about the school musical, she has to sign up. Evelyn's lifelong  dream is to become a singer, but when she goes to New York City, she's not so sure. With the help of her new friend, Gretchen, can she get the guy of her dreams, sustain popularity without being crushed by Brianna Stai, only THE most popular girl in the school......and master singing........all at the same time?
