Two years have passed since the first season, and a lot has changed in Inkopolis. Zaki, who is now eighteen, is still on the Turf War scene trying to leave her mark in the Inkopolis Turf League before she ages out, and she'll be doing it alongside her friends, level-headed sniper Keiso and bubbly roller gal Teruo. She also finds herself being a mentor to two new squids on the block, the cool and confident Spider and his adorkable but incoherent friend, Inkura. When she's not fighting on the turf, she's saving Inkopolis from the Octarians, who have now found a way to use Inklings' ink as a power source at the cost of their voices.
