Lieutenant Jones and his best friend Lieutenant Richard "Dick" Best, Two of the best flyers aboard the USS Enterprise. A squad of 101st Airborne, bound for Japan after VE Day, are suddenly and mysteriously wrecked in Pyrrhia, a land of dragons and adventure. Do they have what it takes to survive and get home? What new and strange rules are to be found in this place? Are they able to face down a traitor in their midst? Or will they drag the war to the peaceful inhabitants of this new place, so that it truly engulfs all worlds? Follow Lieutenant Marvin with his ragtag squad of men; and Moonwatcher, a Nightwing with mind-reading and precognition abilities, in the first installment of the Wings of Honor series! This story takes place after the 3rd arc, and has spoilers for the 2nd arc (books 6-10). I wrote this before the end of the 3rd arc, and have therefore taken some artistic liberties. In military training in Northern Germany, he meets another soldier named Kurt Smith. Kurt has been his friend since military training until his death in a battle against the Soviets during the early night. After Kurt's death, Albert faces many problems with another death of one of Kurt's friends from high school, Ralph Schäfer that he had just met. Albert will then be taken to a place many soldiers of his kind have gone before, a Russian P.O.W camp and might stay there for most of the war until it is over or will Albert try to escape during the night and go on a huge journey back to Germany?
