Theodore has liked Meave since he found her under the oak tree across the football field a year ago. But with Meave being his only real friend, finding out that she is dating his ex-best friend, Silas, almost broke him apart. As he starts to come to terms with their relationship, his difficult past with Silas starts to come to light. Sometimes Theodore wonders if he hates Silas as much as he thinks he does, and what his true feelings for him might be.
Silas is trying to make amends for leaving Theodore alone in that hallway all those years ago. When he starts dating Meave, he realizes that he finally has a chance. The question is, is that the only thing he wants?
