The Balance has always been a real thing, but since noone ever believed them and they had no way to prove their claims, Nightmare and his crew were forced to play scapegoats. And yet, their work alone wouldn't be enough.
In this story, Fate has grown bored, and wants to spice things up a little. She decides to abduct a monster that will be able to turn the tables, to bring a big change to the endless battles between creation and destruction. And what better candidate is there other than Blue "Blueberry" WingDings? She gives him a new purpose, a new name, a new life, and everything else is forgotten. She gifts him more power then his former self would have ever thought he could have dreamed of, albeit not in the context he would have wished.
With the Multiverse's kindest being reformed into a merciless killing machine, everyone starts to realise that something is up, and that there may be a way to get back who they lost.

He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
