In the City of Prais, a seventeen years old girl, Ayah, lived an unfortunate life. That life became even worst when her friend broke her trust, and their father leave them for another woman.
Her life were full of misfortunes and lamentable events, that she thought maybe she was born to suffer all her life. She cursed the fates, she loathed her destiny.
Since that eventful summer, Ayah's life did not became even better. Well, not until she had met the old woman who presented to her The Book.
A book that can grant a wish. Like a genie in a teacup, only that this book can grant more than three wishes. You can kept on writing on it until the rest of your life and you will be the writer of your own story.
All the things you wrote in that book will came alive, and Ayah felt like powerful and uncontrollable. She held her own life now. She can do everything she wanted, everything she wishes for.
When she became engrosed and lost with the power of The Book brought to her life a drastic turn of events happened. She met Maggie, a girl who revealed to her the dark secrets behind the powerful Book.
Will she be able to open her eyes and behold the danger behind a wonderful life? Or she will let herself be lost at the comfort of fantasy?
