The Victor's Village- Winner of the 99th Hunger Games

My name is Fawn, and I am from District 10. I am just fourteen years old; I just won the 99th Hunger Games, and I'm living the life of luxury in District 10's Victor's Village with my two younger siblings, and my mother. I thought once I won the Hunger Games, I would get to live my life in peace, and keep my family safe from all harms. Ever since my father left, my family, well, sort of fell apart. My mother went into a state of depression, leaving my younger siblings close to starving. But when I won the Hunger Games, I put all the pieces of our family back together. Just as I'm getting settled into the life as a Victor, various Generals, Capitol Administrators, and even the President himself have asked me to do something I do not want to do. I have two choices: I can be sent to the Capitol for two months every year, to give speeches and shows and performances of killing innocent people, or I can let my family be murdered.
