Coming back home should've been Percy's dream come true, after all it meant he'd lived through his second war and he was finally getting a chance to live a normal life, right? Oh, how he wished it were that easy. There's a part that's never told about heroes and legends, it's the part that's easiest to hide because everyone so desperately wants to avoid and forget, and Percy knows just why. It's the part that no one will talk about in broad daylight, but they'll whisper around in dark corners and conversations on the phone. It's the part that completely takes over when it's 4:00 am, and you cant's sleep. It's the part that makes you wish there'd been a different ending to the same story. That's the part that Percy hadn't quite paid attention to when he'd decided to come back home. A short fic about what happens to our favorite hero, once everything is over. ~darkPercy
