Gladiolus can't remember a time when she wasn't either scared, confused, or furious, because all her memories consist of only a few weeks. All she knows is what she's been told by the mysterious blood-sucking monsters that woke her two months prior. According to the Blanchard's she, and the other seven women under their command, were destined for one thing; to be their food.

When an estranged member of the family returns to live in the Victorian-style mansion, Gladiolus sees it as the perfect moment to find the real reason for her capture, and hopefully recover her lost memories along the way.
