London, UK, 2030: Werewolves are acknowledged by humans but still live in packs on the edge of towns and cities.

No longer poor and scavenging for food, these wolves have used their intelligence, determination and brute force, throughout the years, to rise through the ranks and gather their own wealth, and place in society, to maintain their extravagant lifestyles.

This includes working with the mayor of London to do the 'Heavy Work' that these wolves excel in in order to gain agreed extended hunting areas.

But when the mayor goes back on this deal with one of the most affluent pack leaders in the area, the peace between the wolves and humans ceases to exist and a war is brewing - with the first casualty being the mayor teenage daughter, Selene, as she is kidnapped and used for ransom.

Taken to their mansion, Selene meets an arrogant and sadistic werewolf called Fane, who wastes no time in telling her his disdain for humans but as the hours turn into days, Selene not only begins to find out more about these creatures, and what Fane is capable of, but more about her past, present and her future with dangerous, life-changing results...
