Valencia Hook, daughter of Killian Jones, also know as Captian Hook spends her time with her brother, Harry Hook, hidden away on their father's ship. They grew up on the ship after their mother gave birth to them and then left them on the boat for their father to find. Neither Harry nor Valencia have ever met their mother or gone into Storybrooke. Instead, they've learned how to sword fight, and hunt. Leaving their father's ship to do so. While Harry's made friends of some of his father's crew, if a pirate can have friends, Valencia has snuck off to make her own friends, against their father's rules. Soon they will be 18 which means they have their own will and don't have as many rules to follow. In the meantime, they play truth or dare to pass the time.
