The Khan Makyr and her main Hell Priests are dead, but new priests have risen to subjugate Argent D'nur. A new group, the Order of Night, battles the remaining Makyrs, priests, and demons. They are led by Laervik, a descendant of the late King Novik, who seeks to reclaim the throne she believes is rightfully hers.

Sirvayn, a young light mage from the village of Ryxmoor, has joined the Order after being rescued. They seek to prove themselves to their lost god, the Wraith Zurak, and to their new friends as the group battles to save what's left of Argent D'nur.
