And on top of that is their ongoing feud with Crim, who still refuses to forgive them. Pokémon Cardinal is a storybook series on YouTube created by HoopsandHipHop, in which he describes his concept for a Canadian Pokémon game. This fanfic is my interpretation of what a Pokémon Adventures manga adaptation would be like. Much like how the YouTube series is not an actual video game, this story is only a literary version that follows the conventions of a typical pokéspe manga arc. The fate of all Pokemon rests on Skylar, and her pokemon, Absol, Weavile, Houndour, and Taillow. But, of course, she runs into people that she can't just get rid of, the water trainer, Barry, the fighting trainer, Lucas, and the flying trainer, Dawn. How does she cope with having to stay undercover with a bunch of trainers she just met? And how can she keep quiet about the fact she can talk to Pokemon? Well, you have to read it to find out. After winning the Kalos League and keeping their promise, Ash and Serena continue their journey together. From new regions, to new Pokemon, to new battles and new experiences. Whatever lies ahead, they don't know, but they will face it together. This is a sequel to my Our Promise one-shot (which you can read if you'd like for some extra exposition but it's not required). I kept looking over it and I saw more potential in it, but instead of going back to that story, I decided to keep it a one-shot and make the sequel a multi-chapter story.
