I felt it before I saw it.
The heartbreak was excruciating, and the pain? Relentless.
I wouldn't wish this one my worst enemy, no matter what they did. No one deserved this type of pain.

What did I do? Did I say something wrong? No, no. I was good, wasn't I? Good enough, at least.... Right?

She loved him. More than life itself. She would die for him if his life was in danger, and she could do something to prevent what was happening. That's what you do for the people you love, right? That's what she thought as well. That's why she didn't understand why.

He loved her. And others. He loved her more than life itself. Some times. He would prevent all the bad things that could happen to her. If it was in his power, and he could gain something from it. That's what you do for power, to be on top, right? That's what he thought as well.
