Eikko (Erik) Koskinen, is a humble, Swendish commoner from Kent in the province of Illea. Erik prefers to stay in the background, unnoticed so it comes as no surprise that he doesn't want to be apart of the Selection process held by the beautiful Princess Eadlyn Schreave. But he can't help himself when a fellow Swendish family from Sota puts out a call for a reliable translator for their son, Henri Jaakoppi, who has been chosen to be apart of the selection. He didn't expect to get the job, but when he does, he willingly follows Henri to Angeles as his personal translator. Erik never expected to become so close to Henri or the other men taking part in the selection...nor did he expect to fall head-over-heals in love with the one girl who could never be an option.
