Sylvia and her mother move to the Galar region, where her mother will work to help find a successor for her grandmother's gym, and Sylvia will try her luck in the gym challenge.
**Sylvia is just a made up character, she isnt from the games and I just wanted to write a sword/shield fic!! I never actually insert myself into x reader books so I decided to just make up my own character
Also, this is written more as a real-life sort of book, with actual human problems and not just stuff out of the game as I kinda wanted a more realistic approach and more to work with!
