Alina, a first generation Chinese American has gone through so much between her birth and now. She has moved to the city of Boston and has lost all contact with her parents and two sisters. As a person who works at one of the largest real estate companies in New England, she has never felt so proud of herself. But those same negative thoughts that she's had ever since she was in middle school always come back, threaten her. She tries to deal with her thoughts and the stress that come with her job, this means she often goes to different cafes in the city to finish extra work or just to think. Things take a turn when a boy named James sits across from Alina and decides to talk to her. As time goes on they become closer and closer but the negative thoughts Alina gets seem to always get the best of her and take her to the wrong path. To try to "deal" with her thoughts, she runs away. Days past and James never stopped looking for her until she finds her at the edge of the cliff, getting ready to jump where she will be happier. But James becomes the one who saved her. ------ Hi everyone! Things do get a little scary in this book, if you don't feel mentally ready please do not read this book. I am never good at writing summaries so you can try to read the first couple chapters to see if this is a good fit for you!

[FINISHED] George has to live with extreme anxiety. He never talks to people and locks himself in his room. One day he needs to go to the supermarket. A random boy, named Clay, walks up to him, he makes George run away. The boy keeps contacting him. Why does George feel so comfortable around him? He isn't allowed to. How does this random guy do this, calm him down all the time? What starts with just a small conversation ends in way more than ever expected. 'Why did you start talking to me?' 'Because you had something different.' TW's this book: Panic attacks, self harm, suicidal thoughts, abuse, homophobia. REWROTE THIS TO A PLATONIC FANFIC (might rewrite and fix all the mistakes later :D)
