Once upon a time yeah, yeah we all know it. This story is a little different, but it's hitting close to home.
Maria Sanchez, a 5'10" 17 year old, blue eyed beauty. If or when you look past the bruises littering her body I suppose, but only if you have ever seen them. She has been getting bullied at school and abused at home since she was 12 years old, and believes that she deserves every bit of it after the life changing accident. She tries to keep her abuse on the down low so nobody finds out, for the fear of being hurt more by her abuser.
Now add in Alex Cole also known as, the 'bad boy', of the town. Alex Cole is a 6'4" 17 year old, green eyed beast. Most people, terrified of him avoid him at all costs because of his well known soul seeing glare. For the past 5 years Maria has been saving up money for escaping, so she can go to college and leave the place she once called home. Both Maria and Alex are now in their senior year of high school. Now add in fake friends, jealousy, police, and secrets you've got yourself a year of fun. Everybody thinks of Alex Cole as a cold-hearted and rude man. What if Alex knew Maria long before senior year? What if Alex isn't what everyone sees?

At first, he feels like nothing but a pain in her ass but somehow he ends up showing her that there are still things worth living for. He even has an interesting offer of defense classes in exchange for Summer to be his fake girlfriend let's see how that goes...
