written in Tag-Lish Since her senior year, Amara had always been a fan of Korean and Chinese dramas. Her university days were colored by fan-girling over a popular K-pop boy group, and even now, as a working adult, she still finds comfort in watching K-dramas and C-dramas after a long day. One afternoon, she discovers that a new Korean café has opened just a few blocks from her home. Drawn by her love for anything Korean, she visits a day after their grand opening - and soon becomes a regular. A year passes, and that's when she notices him - a handsome Korean guy, always dressed in a crisp white shirt, black slacks, sometimes with a black coat and tie. She assumes he must be an employee. Maybe the manager? She muses whenever she catches a glimpse of him. Until one random night, while scrolling through her phone, his video suddenly pops up on her FYP - promoting the very café she always visited. Curious, she stalks his profile and shockingly learns: he's the CEO of the coffee shop chain! On impulse, Amara clicks follow. On an even crazier impulse, she sends in her resume... and somehow, she finds herself landing a job at the company headquarters. Now the question is - can she ever get close to him? He seems friendly and approachable in person... but will she be able to cross the line between customer and boss?
