Skylar Black is 17, her parents died when she was around 8 years old so she is now living with her adoptive family. She has an adoptive brother named Aiden and an adoptive sister named Chloe.

Skylar is broken, every time her 'parents' come home from a party they physically, mentally and verbally abuse her, she is forced to do all of the chores and make all of the food.
