Don't you notice, how everyone gets burned, everyone gets stung, everyone cries, once in their lives? But once, once is rare, it happens more like twenty times. Parents die, siblings die, your loved one breaks your heart. You think life's over, not worth living.

It happens the best of us. Some commit suicide, some realize they're being silly and will get over it, you know the famous saying 'There's plenty of fish in the sea.'

Point is, stop living your life like you're goddamned immortal, because sweetie, you're not.

Life takes more than it gives, and that's plain shitty. But you know, sometimes you have to be grateful for what it gives, and forget what it takes. Laugh and smile for once, and need be, cry and whimper. But you wont live without doing both.

Soon it becomes apparent why: Mason is a werewolf. But when a fight turns into a sudden kiss that neither expects, Kieran's feelings for Mason turn to attraction in an instant. None of it makes sense - vampires and werewolves are supposed to be mortal enemies, so why does Kieran find Mason so irresistible? He knows that each kiss is dangerous, each bite is unpredictable...
