As a baby you were left on the streets of London, abandoned by your mother. Now 18 and living with your breath taking powers you spend the last of your money to travel to the USA in search of the Avengers - the people who will help you harness your talent. You are thrown into adventure and chaos when an old villain supposedly turns up to destroy the planet. You answer the questions you've always wondered. Will you ever be a part of a family.. Will you ever be normal? The only thing that will stop you from gaining what you seek is that murderous voice inside your head - and those cool green eyes.
(This story is set 3 years after the events of Endgame, many Avengers have gone their separate ways until now. The Avengers compound has been moved to another abandoned Stark facility on the outskirts of New York.)
This story is written for fun and I hope you enjoy :). As this is my first fanfic ever there may be some errors so I am sorry and I will try to correct those. Hope you enjoy

After returning from Asgard, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Dean Allen stays busy to keep his mind off of wondering when Thor will return. But when a very familiar enemy arrives on earth and steals an object of vast comic power, the safety of the earth is challenged. Loki's aspiration to enslave earth with an army from the far reaches of space spurs S.H.I.E.L.D. to enact the Avengers Initiative. But will this team come together...or be torn apart? Note: this is a reimagining of the first Avengers film. While there will definitely be a lot of similarities between this work and the film, there will also be departures. I've done my best to maintain the general spirit of the film while also putting a spin on things to keep it interesting. Also, Thor and the main character are in a homosexual relationship.
