To lean on falling men

John Forrest, a Wall Street Stock Broker has the life everyone wishes for: a Fifth Avenue apartment, a beautiful wife and a promising career. When his wife Mia suddenly commits suicide, John's world is turned upside down. He wakes up in an open grave in the middle of the Iraqi desert with a dislocated kneecap and a revolver with a single bullet.  He has no recollection of how he got there or who wants him dead. 

John’s fate is uncertain when he is captured by an Iraqi rebel cell. They take him hostage, broadcasting his plea across all Western television for his release of USD$100 million. When his assistant Amber Joseph sees her boss's scratchy image on the Internet she vows to bring him home.

Three months later, he is discovered by the 1st Calvary Division who brings him back to instant celebrity in New York. As he struggles to establish himself as a civilian, one question remains. Who left him to die in the middle of the desert and why? With Amber close to his side, John works to unravel the ball of conspiracy behind his captivity and intended demise until he uncovers the truth behind his wife's tragic death.
