When Dakota Grimm and her five best friends decide to go on a road trip to Maine over the summer, they were expecting it to be a relaxed get away before senior year. What they were not expecting was to get caught up in a murder investigation where they are the only key witnesses.

With a murderer on the loose and their summer vacation at stake, these lifelong friends must help solve the investigation and make it home (without dying) before senior year. That is, if they don't end up becoming the suspects themselves.
