Seventeen year old Maia Whitewater wants nothing more than to find her place in a world where werewolves aren't meant to have magic, yet she does. Along the way, they meet Rhyland Hall and Nikolas Flamethroat, who join up with them to work toward the same cause. Follow the group of five as they take a perilous journey to save the world and find their places in it, even when some are closer to where they belong than they ever thought.
