When things were Simple

(this is a POV book)
As I was running through the woods. The air was hitting my face, the smell of fresh leaves filled my hair. I turn back while running to see Georgina a little ways behind me. She started to catch up when I saw an old cabin in the distance. Deep down I could feel like we could be safe inside. We were feet from the door. Georgina darted inside, then screamed and motioned frantically for me to get inside. "amber hurry, they're coming.'' I was frozen. I could not move something in my gut that was telling me to turn around looking into the inky blackness of the trees when I did All I saw was total blackness. The thing that was chaseing us was gone. The moonlight beamed on my face . Before I could turn back and run to the cabin A midnight black mass pounced on me and I fell to the cold damp ground as its warm breath hit my face.
