This is a letter I wrote in history for an assignment, a letter describing life in the trenches. It won honorable mention in a national writing contest, and on a magazine website, it was voted the #1 new historical story for the day :) ENJOY :D

This is my story where I care about my childhood, the beginning of my life, my childhood, all the way till where I am now. If you want to know more about me, this is a book to learn more about me right away because obviously the bio in my Wattpad or whatever social media I have certainly does not any justice to my personality or the development . Yes, starts off with me actually being a young child in warzone, then starting to love to read and blossom anyways even though I missed some of my milestones. This shows that you do not hit have to hit your milestones right away in order to be normal or what is normal anyway, actually. From everything from my first Halloween to my first horror novel, which was the Stephen King, stand my love reading and writing and also my love of creativity has helped me home and laid into the person I am today. ----- I gasped, but soon enough the rain settled the flames down, making it disappear. I flipped onto my back, making the worst decision of my life. I cried out harder, with unbearable pain shooting through my shoulder. I quickly rolled onto my left side of the body. Making my backwards leg and popped shoulder hurt a tad less. I laid there, crying my eyeballs out. The rain got lighter by the second and stars started to appear in the night sky with the thick clouds drifting away. As the rain officially stopped, I was welcomed to darkness. ----- A/N: Now, I was 13 years old when I created this, and I am highly aware of some errors with spelling and the structure of some chapters. Have you ever seen your life flash before your eyes? Seen all the good memories with you and your friends and loved ones just pass in a few split seconds before the moment comes where you know you'll die? Where you determine if it's going to be a quick or slow and painful death? Well then, same. I risk my life on a daily bases saving others, strangers, kids, families, anyone my team and I can help ranging from terrorist attacks to bombs to pretty much anything. The training that I received a few years ago allows me to do that, it allows me to be the best person that I can be, if I could go back to the day I joined the military I wouldn't change a single thing; the only thing I would've changed in my journey is to have looked after her better.
