Ever since she was a kid, Jane has been living through books. Her escape came through the stories of adventure and magic. But as Jane grows older, she realizes that stories are just that: stories. She stops believing in the good of the world as she lives the harsh reality of her life. She doesn't believe in fairytales anymore.
         After finding a long lost and long sought-after heirloom, her life is turned upside down as she is thrust into the chaos of an entirely different realm, one in which she is being hunted. A new place of kingdoms and hierarchy, places of fairytale creatures and witches. A place of betrayals of the worst kind and the brightest of hope. 
         All of the things she once believed in now seem entirely too real, things like adventure, love, and magick. All these things had to have come from somewhere, right?

This story will include mature themes such as discussions of childhood abuse, traumatic backstories, violence, wound description, sex, substance use/abuse, death, grieving, etc. All characters aged to 18+. We can view Hogwarts as more of a Univeristy school for older students for the sake of my morality.
