My eyes flashed in every direction, hoping for just a glimpse of Hidden Eyes. The worst part was that I knew he was close, but I didn't really know where he was. Is that even possible? I could feel his emotions close by. A wave of indecision and frustration washed over me. I cringed. What could he be deciding? 'Hidden Eyes?' My voice was hoarse and raspy from the cold. The words burned in my throat as I felt his longing and disgust mix together. It made sense to me.  He loved and hated me last the same time,and was deciding which side to give in to.

Bella Caldwall is working in school one day, when she feels a strange connection pulling her out of the building. she soon finds out that the connection links to a strange man with an unusual face. Bella doesn't know what to think of him until he saves her life. She wants to pay him back for his kindness, but she soon realizes that repaying him won't be the hardest thing in her mission. She's going to have to find him first.
