A week before Roxanna Hill is due to start her senior year she's sent to her father. Her mother had failed to inform her at any point during her summer that at the end of it she would be living with her father in California. A trip from Maine to California sounds nice right. A trip to live with a father he left you when you was seven ripping the whole family apart. Literally.
When she leaves her mother she's forced to promise her she will behave herself. She doesn't like breaking promises so she has the full intent to keep it. Yet on her first night in the new small town where secrets won't stay secret it's soon forgotten. It's there she meets Dalton. It's there her life changes forever.
Two people more damaged then Harley Quinn and the joker combined embark on a whirl wind romance. All Roxanna has to do is break down Daltons walls. But when two people are so broke they have nothing to loose it's a romance destining for hurt. It's not secret that the relationship is going to kill, maybe literally.
In a small town where secrets won't stay secrets everything Roxanna has worked to hide threatens to spill. Can she maintain a relationship and escape her senior year unscathed or is she about to put herself through more hurt than she has EVER felt before.
