When a letter arrives in the mail offering Eliza Harrison a job at Keating Hall she takes it. Regardless of her mother's obvious dislike of the family or that she must take a leave of absence from university, Eliza is determined to discover the connection between the Keating Family and her deceased father, while saving up enough money to get her sick mother out of debt. What Eliza doesn't expect to find is someone who makes her heart beat a little faster. The arrogant, stubborn son of the late Mr. Keating. The one person who may make it a little harder to leave when the year is up. Someone who might have all the answers to Eliza's questions, but is too afraid to admit them out loud. Inspired by Jane Eyre, however, it's quite a different story.
