Elowyn "Winnye" Aurora Volkov, a girl who has been craving for validation ever since she was little. The way she got it? Through academics, by being the best in every class she had and always being praised for her knowledge and her good behaviour. Malachai "Kai" Maximilian Cresswell, a boy who was always praised for his excellence. It felt good to better than everyone else in school. He didn't give it much care for it though.
