Micah is a complicated young man. He struggles at school with his grades and home with his family, combining those with his temper, regularly drags him into unnecessary troubles. After being arrested for the second time his mum and stepfather kick him out of their house in Rome, that makes Micah go live with his dad at his hometown in northern England. With that, he has to adapt to his new reality and tries to get in touch with his childhood best friend. What this "best friend" didn't expect was the number of problems that came in the "Micah's package" making both of them living a roller-coaster of feelings. "Oh, man, I missed his smile, well, you see he doesn't have the usual "perfect" teeth, but that's why I like it. Crooked teeth, a bit separated and yet, perfect to me. It's unique. When I think about his smile, I remember that Gil is irreplaceable. There is no one like him, and there is no smile that makes me feel this kind of contagious joy."
