Twenty-one year old Jasmine Green hasn't left her apartment in two years. Ever since her father's tragic suicide, she left her childhood home and moved out into the world alone. Shortly after moving, Jasmine is haunted by her past and develops extreme agoraphobia. She turns to her religion and is consumed by desperation to please her god. Across the town, Jasmine's mother sits in her armchair, terrified of her daughter's possession and destroyed by the death of her husband. Isolated from her friends and family, fifty-year-old Barbara only leaves her home to attend church each week. After an incident turns Jasmine's life around, they both have to come together and understand one another, perhaps for the first time in their lives. (Cover photo does not belong to me.
