Everyone has a dark secret but others are much darker than the rest. When people see Ana, they know to keep their distance. It's not because she's ugly or mean but it's the dark presence that surrounds her. Even her best friend feels this but doesn't say anything. Ana knows the reason why people keep their distance but a certain boy seems immune to her dark presence. He actually seems more attracted than fearful. But he's not the only one. 

With a family secret and other beings coming after her, Ana must protect the people she loves with the gift from her family if is she wishes to stay alive.
