A short story about Aboriginal reconciliation written from the perspective of a survivor of residential schools. Originally done for school but thought I'd share it here as well. :)

This is a factual story that tells of my experiences growing up and I also wrote this in memory of my late Dad. It is also greatly inspired by writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Tales Of Grief. The tragedy being raised from a broken home, the losses, mistakes made, the sociological, psychological, emotional and social trauma from academics and people generally. This story portrays the hardship of single parenting, I really hope I don't offend anyone in my writing.
