*If you wish to start riding, please consult a professional and do not learn from this book. Equestrianism is a dangerous sport with dangerous animals that can kill you. Not every aspect of riding and training is represented in this book in full detail as to not take away from the main part of the story, so do not try any exercise or tip in the real world. Again, if you'd like to start riding horses, please consult a professional trainer.*

Evening Star Ranch, a farm that's been built from generations before us to take in and train horses and raise cattle. Based in a small town in Montana, you'd expect for there to be little to no activity. But that's not the case when it comes to Blake Hollows and her farm.

Unexpectedly, Blake's father takes in some old friends and their son to live in the spare rooms in the house. But, they're people that Blake doesn't particularly like. City folk. With a spoiled, but charming and friendly, city kid named Sam now on the property, Blake has no choice but to interact with him, an activity she doesn't enjoy.

But with the city slickers' arrival comes trouble, both old and new. With the past coming back to haunt Blake and put the Coopers in danger, and a blonde buckle bunny trying to ruin everything Blake has worked and fought for, there's bound to be guns, guts, and hopefully glory.

Add in a classic opposites attract spark of love, assassin secrets, and plenty of horses, this is a story you will not want to miss.

*I'm not good with bio's, so this might change multiple times, but the general story will of course stay the same.*

"Dance with me." While I knew it wasn't a demand, it wasn't a question either. I hesitated and he noticed. "Come on Grace, give this gentleman the honor of a dance." "I don't see a gentleman anywhere." He chuckled, stepping closer and tucking his thumbs into his tight jean pockets. He looked like every woman's dream--dark jeans that hugged him sinfully, golden-tanned skin contrasted by his white-fitted shirt, a black, wide-brimmed cowboy hat, and a smile that could send any woman on her knees. Not to mention a voice that coated your skin like silk sheets. I hated how much I noticed. "You're right, but I would like the honor anyway... ma'am." ********************* Meet Grace--living the city life, reserved, eager to please, loyal to a fault. Feeling empty for reasons she's not yet sure of, she's adamant on chasing anything that makes her feel free. Meet Colt--living the country life, private, stubborn, outspoken. Feeling empty for reasons he's well aware of, he hides in his daily routine. Grace can't seem to figure out why she holds nothing back when it comes to Colt. He's absolutely infuriating. Colt can't seem to understand the affect Grace has on him, and why he cares what she does. She's entirely maddening. When the two get lost in the wilderness, it's up to Colt to get them back. Can they put their differences aside long enough to survive? Is it Colt who will save Grace, or is it she who will be his saving grace? **Book 3 in the Coda Paxton Series** My Aunt Callie always said I had to get back on the horse if I fell off. It didn't matter if I got bucked off, or if my cinch was too loose, or if I went to turn a barrel and slipped too far. I always had to get back on that horse before she would let me leave the arena. She'd tell me "Blake, you need to put on your big girl boots and get back in that saddle". So I did. That's how I grew up, riding with my dad or his sister every chance I got, and that's the way they taught me to live. If something scared me, they'd just tell me to put on my big girl boots, and that was enough challenge to get me to do it. Also, cowgirls don't cry. I'd never been much of a crier. Hell, I was known for being tougher than my cousin Kellan, and I was proud of that. I was proud because I was tough. Then, I met Coda. Coda was the girl with the whole world against her. Every time she started gaining confidence and feeling good about life, she'd get knocked back down. The thing about her was she didn't give up. Coda may have been a sweet, quiet soul, but she was tougher than any bull rider or bronc buster. She's the girl that showed me you can cry and still be tough. She's the girl that showed me what tough really is. Coda Paxton was the girl who made me want to put on my big girl boots and get things done, and not just because of the challenge. SEQUAL TO RIGHT BACK ON This story is from Blake's perspective so it can be read as a standalone, but things might make a little more sense if you read Into My Own and Right Back On first :)

**Book 2 in the Coda Paxton Series** From the very moment I met Oakley Meisner, I knew my life was going to change, big time. As if my world wasn't messy enough already, she whirled in like a hurricane and turned everything upside down. I have a lot to thank that girl for, though. She introduced me to my best friend and got me into roping; the sport I grew to love. And, as much as I hate it, I have to credit her for giving me the confidence to believe in myself and stand up for what's right. If there's one good thing to be said about Oakley, it's that she was relentless in forcing me to stand up, dust myself off, and get right back on with life.
