After Earth becomes too hot to live on and the 'doomsday' project failed NASA descovered an Earth-like planet outside our solar system. When half the population boards the spacecraft to leave the failed 'doomsday' project the son of the president of project 'Second Earth' failed to board tge spacecraft. He gets left behind with the inmates of 'doomsday' and is forced to adapt to the extremely hot conditions. When the president of the 'Second Earth' project finds out his son failed to board he sends troops to leave in an escape pod to find his son. But when the pod ends up bursting into flames from the Earth's hot atmosphere and the spacecraft is left with only half their troops how will they put up with the extra terrestrial beings on this 'Second Earth'? What will happen to the inmates on Earth? Who will survive? How will they survive?

I'm also into all the Earth ending movies/TV series like 'The 100' on Netflix. I tried not to make anything similar to anything I've read or watched but it is very difficult as every Earth ending series/movies all have similarities and differences. If there is anything you feel too similar to anything you've read/watched it is completely coincidential and I would like if you would tell me in the comments so I can change anything I need to. These series dealt with gay rights and social issues featuring storylines concerning homophobia, HIV & AIDS, Proposition 14 (USA version), violence/gay bashing, coming out, drug use, gay marriage & parental rights amongst others. The original UK series was set in Manchester, the US version in Pittsburg, I have set this version in Sydney at the same time (Early 90's) and have kept the original music that was first used in the UK version and re-used in the US version. I've renamed the characters (obviously) and also place names etc to suit the change in city. I've also added in some Australian-ness to suit the location. If you haven't seen the TV series, the UK version was ground breaking for it's time, nothing like it had been seen before and it sent controversial waves rippling which Showtime picked up on. They re-made it for a US audience, using nearly the exact same script before carrying it on and expanding it into 5 series. I highly recommend you watch if you can!
