Almost ten years have past since Ariadne was forced to leave her home and accommodate to a new land--a new life--across the sea, leaving behind the only world she has ever known. A world she hardly remembers.

After taking shelter with a wealthy merchant family, Ariadne is tasked with the findings of a rare and precious artifact that was stolen from her caretaker with the help of their daughter--and her closest friend--Valeria.

Together they set out to return what was stolen and throughout Ariadne's travels across the continent, secrets, dangers, and deadly truths start to unravel and change her perception of their very world and humanity.
