After divorcing Allura, Lance is forced to marry Keith under the threat of his mother, Rosa. Keith, on the other hand, only accepted Lance's family name in order to keep a secret. However, Lance's heart remains with his ex-wife, Allura despite their relationship being opposed by Lance's mother and Allura's parents. Due to Allura's desperation, Lance was unaware that Keith was in pain because of his action.
