Serendipity - finding something good without looking for it
Jo has never been fond of Hero. He's everything she despises. And she's always made herself clear of that. Yet when Hero offers her a job, she takes him up on the offer.
She's hesitant at first with him. Nervous he's just putting up an act. But the more he asks questions, and makes her laugh, the more he crawls her under skin. And the harder it is for her to deny the feelings she's grown towards him. She knows she's taking a chance falling for someone like him. She never thought there'd be more under his cocky personality and annoying good looks.
But deep down she knew all good things come to an end. She just didn't realized how badly it would ruin her.

warning: this is techinally a fanfic, although it has nothing to do with the movie after or book series, nor does it have to do with the actual actors or the filming of the movies. Its just hero and jos names and faces. Everything is from my imagination. If it's similar to something else, it's a pure coincidence.
there also will be smut/mature topics!! Please check the TW in the characters part!

Josephine left on the day of her wedding, leaving Hero foolishly waiting for her at the altar. She left without a word, nor a trace. Taking nothing with her but her passport.
Hero waited for his bride only to be told by her father that she wasn't coming, leaving Perth furious and in so much pain. He vowed to forget Josephine for leaving him.
Three years later, Josephine shows up and wracks the rubbles of the chaos she previously left behind.
