Wake Me Up

Anna Flore is a typical teen who is turning 17 this year, the thought of finally going out to see her friends was the biggest excitement in her life; considering it has been 5 years since she had seen a decent human being, it was going to be fun as the date which was marked by her name got closer and closer.
Days spent alone as she took care of her abusive alcoholic mother who was still recovering from the loss of her Husband nearly 10 years ago, prisoned Anna from any contact with the outside world.
It was written in history, the day of her birthday was when everything was going to change. All of the puzzle pieces were finally going to come together; all of her dreams were going to come true.

And that’s what happened, waking up with everything Anna had ever dreamed of, her mother’s drinking problem gone, as if it had never happened. Being admired and loved by strangers, going to parties every night and the best job in the world.

But all the pieces of happiness come at a price, her best friend disappeared from the face of the earth, a mysterious boy who appears out of thin air, a secret letter holding a changing story and a longing secret everyone is hiding from her.

This Leads Anna into another world where nothing is what it seems, but is her new residence a dream or a nightmare come true?
